Girls Trip to Jeju: Days 57-70

So confession, I am a bit of a kpop (Korean-Pop) fan... or maybe a really big fan. At the end of my study abroad, I had attended a total of 16 major events, which included fan meetings, showcases, festivals, and of course concerts. The past couple of weeks show how that was especially the case. I went to ZB1's fan showcase, LE SSERAFIM's concert, and a Coldplay concert that Twice opened for.

Other major events these past couple of weeks: I went on another weekend trip with the Yonsei girls! While Megan stayed in Seoul, the other seven of us were able to align our schedules and spend a weekend on Jeju Island. It was nice to rent a car and explore the island together.

Finally, I do want to express the importance of prioritizing your health. I was the first person to get sick in our group, and unfortunately it did spread to the other girls. Christina was sick during most of the Jeju trip and, while hardly anything can dampen her mood, I did feel bad that she had to go through that during our vacation. I would not have been able to attend the events I did if I was not in great health! This is one of the many things we take for granted, so please listen to your body and keep this in mind if you are planning on studying abroad.

Main highlights from these past couple of weeks:

Yongsan

Hybe Building

Eunpyeong

Eunpyeong Hanok Village, Jingwansa Temple

Goyang

Goyang Stadium - Coldplay Concert

Jeju Island

Aewol Bakery and Cafe, Jusangjeolli Cliff, Black Pork BBQ, Snoopy Garden, O'Sulloc Tea Museum
