Hi everyone! My name is Jamie Hirano and I am a third year undergraduate student at the Shidler College of Business (University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa). Currently, I am pursuing a double major in Human Resource Management and Marketing. As stated on The Shidler College of Business' website, "The Freeman Foundation was established in 1994 through a bequest and in memory of the businessman and benefactor Mansfield Freeman, a former director of AIG. The foundation is dedicated to strengthening the bonds of friendship between the U.S. and the countries of the Far East."
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to study abroad in South Korea. My semester would not have been possible without the Freeman Foundation's support. While abroad, I look forward to traveling to various cities and immersing myself in everything the country has to offer: cultural activities, food, history, music, and so much more!
