When people asked me what I was most excited about going into this study abroad, I often had the same response: cherry blossom season. I have not had the chance to see them in-person, but cherry blossoms have always been my favorite flower growing up. I made it a mission to try to see them as much as possible because the cherry blossom season here only lasts a couple of weeks.
Another unique event from the past couple of weeks; I went to my first Membership Training (MT)! MT is a famous overnight trip that Korean universities host for different student organizations, and I was so excited to get accepted into Yonsei Global's. The night consisted of fun games and getting to know other local and international students. I was happy to leave the event with new friends and fun memories.
Since being at Yonsei, I have actively participated in two international student clubs: Mentors' Club and Yonsei Global Program. They both host amazing events and I definitely recommend getting involved in student life if you are interested in meeting new people.
