During our study abroad experience, both myself and Christina (my roommate who is also a Shidler student!) had the amazing opportunity to present to the Mānoa International Exchange's (MIX) Fall 2025 Korea Pre-Departure Orientation.
While speaking to the students preparing to study abroad in the upcoming Fall 2025 semester, we shared some important tips and tricks. I thought this would be helpful information to keep up for anyone else interested in the smaller details. I recognize that moving to another country for four months is not an easy feat. While I was fortunate to have a lot of support from the University of Hawaiʻi (UH) faculty, as well as my family and friends, a large part of my research came from viewing past scholars' blogs. It is my hope I can offer some of that same assistance.
